Before you wait for a deal: two dates and two price rises

The biggest GTA 6 saving available in 2026 is not a discount at all — it is a deadline. Rockstar’s June 24, 2026 Newswire post states that all Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders and purchases before November 20 get the Vintage Vice City Pack, and the PlayStation game page repeats the same cutoff. Black Friday 2026 is November 27, a week after that window closes, so waiting for deal week on the game costs you the bonus and saves you nothing: the game is $79.99 Standard and $99.99 Ultimate either way.

Hardware runs the other way in 2026, and not in the direction most deal advice assumes. Console list prices went up this year rather than down. Sony raised US prices effective April 2, 2026 to $599.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition, $649.99 for the PS5 and $899.99 for the PS5 Pro. Microsoft raised US console prices effective August 1, 2026 — up $100 on 512GB models and $150 on 1TB models — and discontinued the 2TB model. A November listing is only a deal if it beats those numbers, not the prices these consoles carried in 2024.

• November 20, 2026: preorder and purchase bonuses end. Buy the game before this date, not on Black Friday.
• November 20, 2026 (projected): platform-holder Black Friday sales have opened seven days early in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Nothing for 2026 is announced yet.
• No GTA 6 console bundle is announced by Rockstar, PlayStation or Xbox as of 2026-08-03. Treat every bundle claim before an official post as unconfirmed.
