How to verify a link
Open the official source yourself rather than following shortened links or sponsored social posts. Compare the page domain, edition name, release date, platform, and bonus terms against Rockstar or platform-store pages.
If a page asks you to install a downloader, disable account protection, or redeem a code before payment clears, stop.
Safe buying workflow
Use official storefronts for digital purchases. If you choose a retailer later, check the retailer domain, return rules, fulfillment method, platform, region, and whether it sells a disc, code, or digital entitlement.
